Great humidifier for the price

My oldest son has very terrible eczema and I noticed this fall so far he's been a lot worse. I was wondering what I could do to aid our skin care regimen in getting the eczema to heal. I have to say that this little unit is cute and works perfectly.

The only thing that I don't like is the bright red light that shines from it. I don't think there is a way to disable it without hurting the machine so I plan to paint over it with nail polish in hopes it'll dim the glow. My son likes complete darkness to sleep so it has been a bit of an issue.

But overall I love this product. It's been a great help to my oldest with eczema and to my 5 month old baby who got his very first cold. I added eucalyptus oil to the tank for my sons cold (though the machine says not to add anything but water) and it really helped him.

Also I used a vicks warm humidifier before these came in the mail. I don't feel it worked as well and it really made me worry for my chi ldren's safety it being warm mist and that the unit was so easy to take apart and mess with.

This unit is a little more in depth to take apart and mess with so I can hear him when he's trying to mess with it. The "nose" comes off and there is a handle underneath to pull up the tank to fill. So there are a few things preventing him from getting to the part where the water and electricity meet.

Good product

Quiet yet powerful enough. Good price too. It is also very easy to clean. The tanks is big enough for at least 4 nights.

Happy Kids

The "froggie" works well. Almost too well. It puts out a LOT of mist if you turn it all the way up. My boys have been sleeping much better with this thing working in their room. I've used a lot of 'misting' humidifiers. This one is great. Cleans up quickly and easily.
