Coway MHS-E5010 has 4-step safe humidification system. The Coway humidifiers include the technology to generate micro size of mist molecule to prevent from getting wet around the area. The size of mist as 6.77㎛is much smaller than industrial average of 11㎛ The many features are developed to meet user’s needs. AI mode: It is programmable system that automatically checks and controls humidity level in the area. Sleep mode: When the unit is in sleep mode, it operates quietly, and brightness of LCD light is softer. Timer: it is digital display with timer up to 8hours. Child care mode: The humidity is maintained in 50~60% for children. Health mode: The mode maintains appropriate humidity to prevent a cold and dryness of skin. Sterilized humidification mode: The water is sterilized in 167F to prevent from growth of bacteria. Water empty indicator: it shows emptiness of water in the tank. Top filling structure: The water tank can be filled from the top. To increase customer’s satisfaction, Coway applied new materials, silicon and stainless to two different parts that most frequently makes a problem during humidifier use. Coway’s trademarked silicon oscillator cap is harmless and semi-permanent to use. The stainless heater pipe installed the unit protects corrosion of metal. The improvement helps a lot to keep product lifetime longer. MHS-E5010 is working up to 12hour at one filling of the water tank.

Top Filling Convenience.

I was in the search of a good reliable humidifier that had several criteria and this seemed to meet all of them at a reasonable price:
1. Easy to clean: This humidifier has several components (filter, water reservoir, vapor tube, tray) They are all easy to clean. Other humidifiers I researched looked just as straightforward to clean. However, I wanted to avoid using evaporative humidifiers since I was concerned about pet hair finding its way to the vent assembly. This humidifier seems ideal for a pet owning household
2. Digital and adjustable relative humidity display
3. Manual and automatic operation with variable fan speeds
4. Quiet Operation.
5. Easily refilled. This humidifier has a top filling option.
So far I am very happy with this product. I'm a big proponent of domestically made products. Unfortunately this is not made in the US as some of the evaporative humidifiers are but I am satisfied with the purchase.

I bought this unit a month or so ago. It is nicely done, quality materials, nothing flimsy - very well made. It also has all bells and whistles, tons of settings and it is quiet! I can barely hear it running when it is standing next to me. Twin vapor jet system is effective and allows to spread mist more uniformly in a room. I am very happy with this unit - it took me almost 2 years to find a humidifier, which would satisfy our needs.

The only minus (that is why 4 stars and not 5) - if you fill it with tab water - you will notice a pretty strong chlorine smell of the vapor. This is the first humidifier ever that gave me such a strong effect. But, it is noted in their manual along with the workaround - don't fill it right from the tab, let the water stay in an open jar for a couple of hours before filling in and that's it, no chlorine smell.

I would certainly recommend this product to others and I would definitely buy another one, as soon as it is bac k in stock.

Update: Just bought a second unit - one is staying in a baby's room, one in a living room. About chlorine smell - it could be a new unit "thing" - after a week or two effect as almost gone.

My nose and throat is so comfortable with this.
My baby does not get a cold anymore. I'm so happy about this choice.
It does not make my carpet wet or make any stain on the carpet.
Good enough capacity for a whole night.
